The heart of the barn is its spacious open-plan living area — a welcoming space where guests can cook, eat and relax together. The kitchen is fully equipped for group catering, with two Neff ovens, dual dishwashers, a microwave, and all the essentials. A striking handmade dining table comfortably seats 16.
In the lounge area, soft furnishings gather around a wood-burning stove, perfect for cosy evenings after a day on the coast. At one end of the barn, a separate TV room offers a quiet space for films or games, while a utility room keeps beach towels, boots and laundry tucked out of sight.
Elegant Bedrooms & Bathrooms
All eight bedrooms are individually styled and feature their own dedicated bathroom. The ground floor bedroom includes an en-suite shower room and easy step-free access. Upstairs, six more double bedrooms offer en-suite facilities, and a final double has use of a generously sized bathroom across the hall, complete with a freestanding bath.
Egyptian cotton bed linen, blackout blinds, and thoughtful finishing touches provide the comfort of a boutique hotel in the privacy of your own space.
Private Gardens, Vineyard Walks & Outdoor Dining
Step outside to discover the Cider Barn’s private south-facing garden — a beautifully landscaped space with mature specimen trees, outdoor seating, and far-reaching valley views. Guests can enjoy lazy mornings with coffee on the terrace, or gather for al fresco dinners prepared in the outdoor kitchen, which includes a wood-fired pizza oven, wine fridge and sink.
Beyond the garden, guests are welcome to explore the surrounding orchard and vineyard, with peaceful walking routes accessible directly from the door.
Wellbeing Meets Sustainability
The Cider Barn offers a unique opportunity to unwind in comfort while staying connected to nature. Fresh mineral water is drawn from a private spring, and the majority of electricity and hot water — including for the year-round indoor pool — is generated on-site using solar energy.
An advanced air purification system renews the air throughout the property every 20 minutes, filtering out dust and pollen and promoting a fresher, healthier indoor environment. Combined with natural materials, reclaimed timber, and peaceful rural surroundings, it’s a setting that restores and uplifts in equal measure.
Location & Things to Do
Just a short walk from the barn, you’ll find the sandy cove of Polkerris Beach, ideal for swimming, paddleboarding or enjoying lunch at the pub. Fowey’s independent shops, seafood restaurants and galleries are also within easy reach, as are the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan.
