From Our Orchard

Trenant No.1 is crafted from carefully selected apples grown in our own Cornish orchard at Saints Way Wines. Produced in small batches, it captures the freshness of the harvest and the unique character of our estate, creating a wine that is both elegant and approachable.

Tasting Notes

Delicate white floral aromas lead into crisp green apple and subtle citrus on the palate. A refreshing acidity keeps the wine bright and balanced, while a gentle honeyed finish adds softness and length without overwhelming the fruit.

Serve lightly chilled to appreciate its freshness and delicate aromatics.

Frequently Asked Questions

Assorted red and green apples in black plastic bins.

How is Apple Wine Different to Cider?

Although both are made from apples, apple wine is produced using a winemaking process rather than traditional cider-making techniques. The result is a still wine with greater complexity, balance and elegance, intended to be enjoyed in much the same way as a white wine.

How Should I Serve This Wine?

For the best experience, serve lightly chilled at around 8–10°C.

Where is Your Apple Wine Produced?

Our apple wines are crafted from carefully selected heritage Cornish apple varieties, with every harvest pressed on our estate before being transformed through our small-batch, low-intervention approach to winemaking.

How Long Will the Wine Keep Once Opened?

Once opened, we recommend resealing the bottle and storing it in the refrigerator. It is best enjoyed within 2–3 days.
